You can feel the energy in the air for summer to begin and students and staff to get a much deserved break. We have all worked hard this year to learn, build relationships, develop self confidence, and thrive in this caring community. Please support us in making the end of year memorable and in supporting us to support students to end the year strong with positive energy. I look forward to the end of year activities and hope that you will feel the energy too!
No School On Monday
Quick reminder that there will be no school on Monday, May 29th due to the Memorial Day holiday. Enjoy your long weekend!
Emergency Vehicles on Campus
Your child is safe. Earlier this morning, the Davis Fire Department was called to campus for a student medical emergency. The school was placed in a brief shelter in place to ensure first responders had quick access to the student.
It can be alarming for our students and staff any time emergency vehicles are on campus. Please know that staff is here to support students should they need it. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the office at (530) 757-5460.
Last Math Club Meeting
Tuesday, May 30th will be the last Math club meeting for the year. Thank you Ms. Cook for sponsoring and thank you to all the students who participated.
Thank You Crystal Waters
Thank you Crystal Waters for all of the years that you have kept Active4Me running strong. It is this program that gives parents the peace of mind knowing that their students have arrived at school safely when biking to school. Willett is in need of a new coordinator for Active4Me as Crystal would like to pass on the coordinator responsibilities. If you are interested/willing to keep this wonderful program going, please reach out to me with your interest. Thank you again, Crystal, for all that you do!
End Of Year Field Day
At the end of each year, 1st-6th grades hold a Field Day full of games and activities on the grass. This is a great end of year activity for students to enjoy themselves and enjoy their teachers. This year’s Field Day will be on June 5th. If you are interested in supporting the event, Please contact me for more information.
Lost And Found Wednesdays
Starting this week, all lost and found items will be displayed on the main quad throughout the school day every Wednesday. Classes will be touring the items to find what has been lost. Please swing by at the end of the day to find any missing items that your student may have lost. At the end of the school year, all unclaimed items will be donated to families in need.
