Willett Spirit Week!!

Spirit Week was a success with students and staff getting into the spirit of the themes and colors for each day. It was nice to see the different colors and dress and the smiles that came with them. The spirit of the Willett student community was out in full force. Thank you Student Council. We look forward to more exciting activities from the council.

Winter break will be from December 19th through January 2nd. Elementary students will return to school on Tuesday, January 3rd.

All students were sent home this week with rapid tests that can be used prior to students returning from winter break. Please see district messaging for more details.

Attention parents, please remember that the front parking lot is for staff use only before school, during school, and after school. Parents need to park off site and walk their students on campus. There have also been some families who are entering the parking lot in their cars from the exit. This poses a danger to all who are leaving the lot and to others who may be walking their students out near that exit. For student safety, please walk students on to campus and do not use the parking lot to drop off or pick up students.

Thank you to all the families who made the CHiP’s for Kids toy drive a success. We were able to fill up the whole back seat with wonderful toys and games. These gifts will be distributed to families in need through the Yolo Housing Authority. It was amazing to see students and families giving to this event and it made me proud of our community. Thank you!
