CHiPs For Kids
Thank you to all the families who donated to the CHiPs For Kids toy drive. It was wonderful to see all the donations, which I am sure will make an impact for families in our community. Your generosity is appreciated.

Monday, December 18- Decade Day or wear red
Tuesday, December 19- Wacky Day or wear black
Wednesday, December 20- Favorite fictional character Day or wear blue
Thursday, December 21- Holiday Day or wear green
Friday, December 22- Pajama Day or wear purple
Rainy Day Schedule Next Week
With the expected rain coming in next week, we will begin to adjust morning drop off, recess, and lunch protocols.
If the rain is steady, students will go to one of the two MPRs before school and will be retrieved by their teachers when the bell rings. 1st-4th grades will meet in the new MPR before the day begins while the 5th and 6th grades will meet in the old MPR before school begins.
Morning and lunch recess would be held in the new MPR where students will have the options to participate in board games, Legos, arts and crafts, cards games, etc. The option to watch a movie pulled from our library will also be offered.
Please share the changes made to the drop off in the morning with your students.
Translators-Movie Screening
Translators is being screened on Monday, December 18th at Brunelle Hall from 5:00-6:00 p.m. This is the untold story of students who are the only English speakers in their family who act as their family’s translators on matters that are sometimes more adult than they are. If you are interested, come take a look.
