2nd Grade Spring Musical
Second grade has been busy preparing for their Spring musical, Character Matters. This musical is about fairytale characters and the importance of building character and good social skills. This musical helps to support The Kelso’s Choice program that has been embedded in our curriculum at Willett. All second grade students are participating in the musical. The school performance is Tuesday, May 28th at 10:30 a.m. for students and on Wednesday, May 29th at 6:00 p.m. for families. The musical will take place in our new MPR. Hope to see you there!
Spring Chorus Concert
Please join us for our annual Spring Chorus Concert on Thursday, May 30th at 6:00 p.m. The concert will take place in the new MPR and features students in 3rd- 6th grade highlighting this year's 6th grade students. We would like to thank the Willett PTA for their generous support.
Congratulations to the Willett Robotics Club!
The members of the Willett Robotics Club competed in the Davis Youth Robotics competition on Tuesday, May 21 at Davis Senior High School. Willett teams took first, second and third place, sweeping the podium! Mrs. Cook and Mr. Fluetsch, the club advisors, are very proud of all the hard work the team members put in this year.
The Willett Robotics Club is open to 6th grade Willett students. We will start a new club session next September. If your rising 6th grader is interested, they can contact either Mrs. Cook or Mr. Fluetsch.
Last Day Of School Release Time
Friendly reminder that the last day of school, June 6th, is an early release day with student dismissal at 12:30 p.m.
We will be on an adjusted schedule on the last day of school (6/6), so please plan ahead:
· AM Kindergarten/TK- regular hours 8:30 a.m.-11:50 a.m.
PM Kindergarten- 9:10 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
· All 1st- 6th grade students: 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Next week I will share the lunch plans/times for all grades.
DKK Last Day
The last day of DKK will be Wednesday, June 5th.
Student Photos And Filming
As the end of school nears, there will be times when parents want to take pictures/video of their students on the final days of school. Please do not post pictures on social media that have other students in the frame. We have students who have not given permission to be photographed or filmed. If you have questions, please let me know.
End Of Year Field Day
At the end of each year, 1st-6th grades hold a Field Day full of games and activities on the grass. This is a great end of year activity for students to enjoy themselves and enjoy their teachers. This year’s Field Day will be on June 3rd. If you are interested in supporting the event, Please contact me for more information.

Willett’s End of Year Celebration is next Friday, May 31 from 5:00-7:30 p.m. Get ready for food trucks, water slides, obstacle courses, carnival games, and more! More info and ways to help HERE. Be sure to pre-purchase food truck items and sign up to help out!
